  2. What is DURALUMIN? • Formerly a light silvery metal discovered by Humphry Davy. • Discovered and patented as duralumin in 1910 by Alfred Wilm. • Its materials may be copper, manganese, magnesium, aluminum and sometimes silicon.

  3. Properties of DURALUMIN • Hard • Lightweight • Ductile • Workable in its normal state

  4. Uses of DURALUMIN Aircraft • It is used on the aircrafts vody parts.

  5. Laptops • It is used for the parts of a laptop especially the back.

  6. Furnitures • Some furnitures have duralumin on them.

  7. Cars • Duralumin are used for some car parts.
