  1. Galicia Located in the northwest of Spain,Galicia is the Finisterrae of the Romans. Its climate is typically Atlantic, with smooth winters and fresh summers. Due to this climate Galicia is located in so called “green Spain”.

  8. OURENSE: Gold, rivers and thermal waters Ourense is the capital of the province of the same name. It is the third Galician city in population, after Vigo and Coruña, and it is placed in the south-east. Baptized by the Romans as " the city of the gold " (Auriense) for its enormous abundance of this metal, it was an important city of the Roman province of Hispania until reserves of the golden metalt became exhausted.   9. Pontevedra is a city in northwestern Iberian Peninsula, the capital of the province of Pontevedra in Galicia, Spain. Pontevedra is a provincial capital, judicial centre, seat of a comarca, and a municipality. It is composed of the city of Pontevedra and of fifteen rural parishes with a total population of 80,001 (as of June 2005), which provides a high density of 635/km². About two-thirds of the population live in the city, and one-third in the rural parishes Like much of the western coast of Galicia, Pontevedra has a temperate, rainy climate, but with peculiarities stemming from its location surrounded by mountains and the ría. Temperatures are pleasant for most of the year (mild winters and summers) with a median yearly temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a spread of about 10 degrees
