  2. London London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. The population of the city is about 9 mlnpeople. London is situated on the zero meridian, who also often called Greenwich. There are many world famous sights: Buckingham Palace,the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Palace complex with a Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, and others.

  4. Buckingham Palace ! Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the Queen.

  5. Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace has the “Changing of the Guard” in front of the palace every morning at 11 o’clock.

  6. The Houses of Parliament The Houses of Parliament in London, known also as the Palace of Westminster is the place where members of Parliament gather to make laws.

  7. The Houses of Parliament The Palace of Westminster stands on the riverside near WestminsterAbbey. Tourists always go to see them.

  8. BIG BEN The Clock Tower with the biggest bell is known as Big Ben. The tower is 96.3 meters high. It weights 13 tons.
