  3. The Panda Country: China Favorite Food: Bamboo Plant It is an Omnivore What to look for:A white bear-like animal that has black circles around its eyes (may be found feeding on Bamboo Plants.) Why it is facing extinction:People are burning down forests,forcing the population of Pandas to reduce.

  4. The Komodo Dragon Country:Indonesia Favorite Food:Small animals It is a Carnivore What to look for:An animal with a snake-shaped head and a body that looks like a lizard. Why it is facing extinction:There is not enough food on the island for them to eat, so they die of hunger.

  5. The Meerkat Country:Southern Africa Favorite Food:Insects It is an Omnivore What to look for:A small mouse that has a slender body with a tail shaped like a reddish and a crescent-shaped ear. Why it is facing extinction:It gets eaten up by other mammals and do not reproduce very quickly, so they are an endangered species.
