  2. = that, which, who, or whom • Used as a clause to describe something you’ve already mentioned. • Ex: This weekend I saw a movie that I liked. • why??

  3. QUI • Is a subject of a clause and followed by a verb • EX: C’estl’histoire d’un garcon quitombeamoureuxd’unefille. • Ca parle de deuxfillesquitombentamoureuse avec le meme garcon.

  4. QUE • Is the direct object of a clause, it is always followed by a subject ( and verb) • EX: Il aimeunefillequesamèredéteste. • Le film qu’elle a vu étaitinteresant?

  5. QUE Avec le passecomposé When the passé composé follows QUE, the past participle always agrees with the noun that QUE represents. Ex: La pièce queJ’aivueétaitamusante. Ex: Les garcons que nous avonsaimésétaitent mignons.
