History shows that the Chicago housing market has always bounced back. In the 1980s, 2008, and 2020, sales fell but recovered. Forecasts show the subsequent rebound will begin in 2026 as mortgage rates ease. The slowdown is temporary. My job is to track the market and help you prepare for it.
