Add-On Products • Requirements • Account with Local Administrator rights to run the service. • Account must be able to connect to the file server hosting the FaxPress and have full control of the Castelle directory. • Microsoft Jet Database Engine using DAO 3.6 (dao360.dll). • If using MS SQL server for archive database, DSN must be created for the archive service to connect.   10. Add-On Products • Special Considerations • MS SQL server should be used for high fax volume environments. • Multiple FaxPress servers must use same file server and Castelle directory. • If running once a day make sure it does not conflict with other processes. Fax Archiver

Add-On Products • FaxPress natively supports: • eCopy • EFI SendMe • HP Digital Senders and MFP’s • Ricoh Globalscan • Sharp OSA2 MFP’s • Xerox WorkCentre Pro MFP’s • Allows a convenient interface for users to scan to fax via FaxPress through the MFP’s UI. • Users can scan to fax by choosing a “Fax” button. • Some integrations support FaxPress external ODBC phonebooks. Add-On Products • Most are installed from FaxPress Setup under Add-On Products. • HP Digital Sender and MFP integration enabled through Server Properties in Advanced Functions Tab. • Best to check with Tech Support for latest software builds. • Other MFP’s can integrate with FaxPress by using the MFP’s scan to email functionality via Email Gateway. Add-On Products • Utility that drops incoming faxes to a folder. • Allows 3rd party software, such as document management apps to retrieve the faxes stored there. • Faxes can be stored as TIFF, PDF, or DCX file formats. • Utility can be run in system tray or as a Windows service. • DropFax folders can be mapped to FaxPress user or to phone line.
