Influence of Maltotriose on MalT-H131A Self-Association Without ATP

The effect of maltotriose on MalT-H131A self-association in the absence of ATP was studied using a Superdex 200 column. Results show modulation of MalT-H131A self-association by maltotriose concentration.

(A) MalT-H131A (10 µM) was preincubated anfd fitered through a Superdex 200 column in the absence of effectors or in the presence of maltotriose alone, as described in Material and Methods. (B) As in (A) except that the concentration of MalT-H131A in the injected samples was varied.
