  9. Extension Activity • Dialog Writing: • Imagine the meeting of an “old-timer” in the Yukon and a fearless gold miner who has just arrived from California. You will write out a dialog of their conversation. Over the course of the dialog, the old timer should explain the dangers of the setting and explain what the newcomer must do in order to survive in the setting.
