The Crime Victims’ Memorial Quilt Event Is not only a time to remember victims, it is a time when family and friends stand in unity with law enforcement and community leaders to rededicate themselves to Victims’ Rights in Fresno County .

The Victims’ Memorial Quilt was established in 1994 by the Fresno County Probation Department Crime Victim Assistance Center. This is now an annual event during National Victims’ Rights week for Fresno County. The Memorial Quilt concept has also been adopted by other counties in California. To date, 375 squares have been pieced together in a series of memorial quilts representing those victims who were lost to violent crime. .
