Diocesan (Of the Diocese) • Ordained Priests who do not belong to a particular religious order, but are assigned to a geographic location by the Church in Rome.
Religious Orders • Priests, Brothers, and Nuns of Religious communities that take religious vows, and follow the philosophy and spirituality of a particular saint/group • Example: The Jesuits, Franciscans, Christian Brothers
