Process Context • Work is upstream: early exploration, conceptual and design stages • Engaged with VA-DoD, Hi2, VHA Innovation, open source and other initiatives • Not typically tied to specific development projects • Processes are highly field user driven, including technology assessment selection • Work centers on technology fitness, not brand specificity • Looking to use RFI process to access “market research” devices
