Germany Surrenders: • President Wilson • Peace without victory • Wilson’s Fourteen Points: No blame on anyone, we work together to rebuild Europe, we form a League of Nations to make sure another war like this never happens again. • The rest of the Allied Powers • Want to blame someone! • They want something for their sacrifice.

  29. Treaty of Versailles • In the end… Germany gets the blame, Wilson gets his League of Nations. • Germany must pay reparations- 30 billion dollars. • Germany loses territory and pride.
