Comenius 2014 The journey to Poland.

1. Friday, May 23 The long walk Comenius 2014 The journey to Poland. In 2012-2014 four schools from Poland, Turkey, Italy and the Netherlands work on a Comenius-project called 'New activities and innovative methods in the field of geography and science education as a support for the school teaching process'. In this brochure we report in short about the activities of this project when we were in Poland. Thursday, May 22, 2014 The school Saturday, May 24 Traveling by kayak On the first day we all left with our partners to visited the school of the Polish students. There we received gifts from the school and the school district master had some words for us. On this day we had to walk through the landscape and find several jar’s, each jar had an task in it we had to preform. On Saturday we took the bus to a river were we went kayaking in pairs. Sunday, May 25 Copernicus As promised sightseeing in Torun. The birthplace of Copernicus. Including a tower with a great view. A barbecue under the stars An untouched forest The evening after the walk there was a barbecue outside we had music and some people went dancing Also there was a game of volleyball with almost all of the students and teachers. A crazy meal the same day we brought a visit to a national park. in the park nature can go its own way, people don’t interfere with it. Of course that evening we had dinner in Torun, however they restaurant might did something in the food, students start doing crazy things. Which gave some funny pictures.

2. Monday May 26 The last chapter Last but nog least, we visited Warsaw. A modern city were nothing from before WOII still stands. A city with some history. We took the bus to a park for a walk. With a lot of statues made like the one’s from the ancient times. The 42th floor Some of us went to one of the tallest buildings in Poland. We took a look over Warsaw from the 42th floor. From there you could exactly see which part of Warsaw was rebuild when
