  4. Reform • “Reform Jews are more inclusive than other Jewish movements” Reform Jewish women can do the following: • Be a rabbi • Be a cantor • Be a synagogue president • Interfaith families are accepted • Accept gays and lesbians • Can read Torah publicly • Take aliyahs during services

  6. Orthodox • Orthodox women are not allowed to or should not: • Get a divorce until their husband receives a “get” • Reveal their hair to anyone except immediate family – wear wigs • Marry a non-Orthodox man • Read from the Torah (even on their Bat Mitzvah) • Take aliyahs
