  2. Please Remember: You know the needs of your child. Please consider that we included a variety of programs. We selected a variety of programs targeting special needs children, typically-developing children, and gifted children. We are hoping to inspire all parents to look for opportunities to promote curiosity and engage their children during the summer months.

  3. For Families with a Special Needs Child

  4. Champions Day at Hawaiian Falls • Saturday, June 21 • Saturday, August 9 • 8:30 -10:30 a.m. exclusive ride times • Champions are free. Family members are $5.00. • Then stay and play all day. • For children and individuals with disabilities and their families

  5. Dallas Children’s Theater • Sensory friendly performances – house lights up, reduced sound level, “quiet room” for breaks • Saturday, July 12 performance at 4:30 p.m. • Fun activities beginning at 3:30 p.m. • $5.00 ticket prices • Social story and parent tip sheet on their web site

  6. Stephanie’s Day at Northpark Mall • Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. • Free face painting, music, clowns, Mavs Dancers, and more • Great resources provided for parents of special needs children

  7. Summer Camps Camp C.A.R.E. – Children with Articulation and Resonance Errors Summer Language Intervention Camp for Kids (S.L.I.C.K.)
