    • HepODBMS 0.3.1.3 calibration lib separate

    • HTL 1.1.1.1 transient/persistent

    • Gemini 1.0.1.0 NAG/Minuit separate

    • HepFitting 1.0.1.0 NAG/Minuit separate

    • HepUtilities 0.2.0.0 tokenizer, “FFREAD”, ShLib

    • LHCXX 1.0.0.0 makefiles and scripts

    • Objectivity 5.2.1

    • ObjectSpace 2.1 for calibration

    • NAG_C 5.0

  • New makefiles (separated for each package)

  • New setup script (.csh and .sh version)

    • ${LHCXXTOP}/share/LHCXX/1.0.0.0/install/sharedstart.sh

    • defines environment variables

Numbering scheme for releases

  • Similar to Linux kernel

  • <major>.<minor>.<bug-fix/patch>

    • <minor> : even = production, odd = development

  • affects links in <release> subdirs only

    • pointing to the relevant bug-fix releases of the packages

  • should be more flexible for users

  • expect changes on timescales of weeks

    • HEP specific part only
