  1. Growing Older Class 2 EVS Worksheet This worksheet is for class 2 EVS, comprising the topic of Growing Older. It will help students develop a better understanding of Growing Older. After the completion of this worksheet, students can easily understand the following: 1.Define living things with examples. 2.Define non-living things with examples. 3.Write different stages of plant growth. 4.Write different stages of butterfly growth. 1. Define living things with examples. Things, that are alive and growing, are referred to as living things. If we look around us, we’ll be able to find so many examples of living things. Some of those things are plants, animals, and human beings. 2. Opposite to living things, things, that are not alive and can’t grow, are referred to as non-living things. However, like living things, if we look around us, we’ll be able to find so many examples of non-living things too. Some of those things are tables, chairs, and stones. Define non-living things with examples. Living and non-living things 3. Write different stages of plants growth. As we discussed earlier, plants are living things that grow. As you grew from a baby to a young kid, and you will further into an adult, similarly plants also grow throughout their lives.   2. Seed – The seed part of a plant’s life is similar to how you were before you were  born. Seedling – The seedling part of a plant’s life is similar to how you were when you  were a small baby. Small plant – The small plant part of a plant’s life is similar to how you are right now,  a young kid. Big tree – The big tree part of a plant’s life is similar to how you will be when you  become an adult. Stages of plants growth 4. Write different stages of butterfly growth. Now similar to your growth and the growth of a plant as we just learnt, butterflies also have their own growth stages that we will see below – Eggs – The egg part of a butterfly’s life is similar to how you were before you were  born or how a plant is at the seed stage. Caterpillar – The caterpillar part of a butterfly’s life is similar to how you were before  you were when you were a small baby or how a plant is at the seedling stage. Pupa – The pupa part of a butterfly’s life is similar to how you are right now as a  young kid or how a plant is at the small plant stage.
