Maximizing MDS Registry Value with Biobanking Matching

Enhancing the MDS registry by aligning with biobanking cells for comprehensive analysis. Various cell types, including bone marrow mononuclear cells, DNA, RNA, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, granulocytes, buccal swabs, serum, and viable cells are utilized. Method involves isolation of cells locally using Ficoll/red cell lysis, DNA and RNA extraction, and central lab processing. Ownership, research fit, informed consent, ICT integration, and financing are key issues addressed with participant questionnaires.
