Salient Features of the Modification • Width of Paver increased from 8.50 To 8.75 Meter. • No of Insertion Forks increased from 24 to 43 • No of Vibrators increased from 19 to 23 • Bottom template spacing modified from 24 slots to 43 slots • Electric Circuit modified to accommodate extra Vibrators • Arrangement of Vibrators modified for uniform Vibration • Distributor trolley modified from 550 mm to 500 mm length of dowel bar . • Tie Bar System modified to accommodate the Bar of 630 mm against the Previous size of 400 mm • One set of Tie Bar inserter removed and position of another changed as per new specifications

  9. Cost Saving • Cost quoted by the Paver Manufacturer M/s WIRTGEN India (Pvt) Ltd Rs 48.00 Lac • Cost incurred by the Project for in house modification Rs 5.48 Lac • 3.20 Lac extra for procurement of Two Vibrators from the Manufacturer. • Net saving - 40.00 Lacs
