ICAO Air Navigation ConferenceSWIM Conclusions in a nutshell • ICAO • Develop (2014) global SWIM/IM • Develop relevant provisions/technical specifications (open & rely on generic international standards) in close collaboration with aviation community • Specifically look at security and bandwidth requirements • Update ICAO IM/SWIM working arrangements • States and stakeholders • Contribute to further development and harmonization of performance-based information management • Demonstrate (together) how SWIM will meet needs of future ATM • Industry • Support the transition towards SWIM with appropriate systems supporting automation and the exchange of all relevant air traffic management data in a globally standardized manner
