Update on Exotics Search and Status Report - July Review Plans

The first version of the supporting note for the Exotics search has been sent for review. The main focus is on background estimation and preparations for the Exotics search. Expecting an EB meeting this week to discuss updates and unblinding procedures. Further decisions on unblinding will be taken in the next week's meeting. Plans are in place to initiate discussions on the Exotics unblinding this week aiming to finalize it within two weeks. Unfolding and SM cross-section measurement are set to be completed by July 15, with the Exotics analysis targeted for completion by August. A comprehensive status report is scheduled for the end of July with approvals expected in early August.

Supporting note status • First version of supporting note has been sent to EB to start the reviewing process. • Many Thanks for your hard work • mainly focus on background estimation and Exotics search for 1st version • CDS link • https://cdsweb.cern.ch/record/1459117 • Expect to have one EB meeting this week • High light the update • Start the unblinding procedure. • Another EB meeting next week to do final decision on unblinding.

  3. Plan • start the discussion on Exotics unblinding this week in EB meeting. • hoping to unblind the Exotics analysis in two weeks time scale. (hopefully before July 15) • We are planning to complete the unfolding and SM cross section measurement in two weeks (July 15) , • we aiming to finalize Exotics analysis before August. • give a full status report to SM group at the end of July. • SM/Exotics approval in Early August.
