  1. PRESENTATION FACILITIES FOR GRADUATE RECRUITERS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KENT (CANTERBURY CAMPUS)

  2. The Careers & Employability Service can book lecture theatres or seminar rooms, arrange audio-visual equipment and advertise your presentation to students. Please see the following slides for examples of these facilities There is no charge for a room-only booking, either during the teaching day or in the evening, except for the Darwin Conference Suite

  3. Keynes Lecture Theatre 5 90-seater level lecture theatre equipped with: Overhead projector, Video, DVD player, Data projector, Laptop point, Computer, Large screen, Infra red hearing system, Active Panel. A foyer area outside the lecture theatre is available for refreshments to be served if required

  4. Keynes Lecture Theatre 5 This is available at the following times: Tuesday 1.00 – 2.00 pm Wednesday 1.00 – 5.00 pm Thursday 12.00 – 2.00 pm Please contact us if you would like to arrange a presentation at these or any alternative times (although availability cannot be guaranteed outside these time slots)

Grimond Lecture Theatre 1 198-seater raked lecture theatreequipped with: Overhead projector, Video, Microphone, DVD player, Data projector, Laptop point, Audio T-loop, Computer, Large screen, Active Panel, Slide projector available on request A foyer area outside the lecture theatre is available for refreshments to be served if required. Available from 6.00 pm

  6. Grimond Lecture Theatre 2 147-seater raked lecture theatreequipped with: Overhead projector, Video, Microphone, DVD player, Data projector, Laptop point, Audio T-loop, Computer, Large screen, Active Panel. Slide projector available on request. A foyer area outside the lecture theatre is available for refreshments to be served if required. Available from 6.00 pm any day and from 2.00 – 3.00 pm on Wednesdays

  8. Careers & Employability Service Building We can provide small rooms for individual interviews or for drop-in sessions for up to 4 students. Please contact us for details.

  9. Catering • Refreshments such as: • Tea/coffee and biscuits • Cocktail snacks • Finger buffets • can be arranged through Kent Hospitality • Please contact usfor full details of menus and costs.

Term dates Autumn Term: 24 September – 14 December 2012 Spring Term: 14 January – 5 April 2013 Summer Term: 6 May – 14 June 2013 Please note that, as the Summer term is a non-teaching term and many students only attend the University for exams and degree ceremonies during this term, it is not recommended that employers hold presentations or campus interviews at this time of year as attendance is likely to be low
