  7. Introduce Myself My name is Vasker Lama Tamang. In my home my family and cousin often called me Teschring. Teschring is my culture name meaning it was given by my mom and dad and Vasker is given by my aunty. I was born in September 1994 in a place called Timai Camp. It was a tiny camp located in Nepal. But right now I live in the United States of America with my elated family. In my family, we have six members and they all are part of my life and I will never forget them whether it’s good situation or bad situation. And all I know is that my family is known for discipline and value. We give great importance to value and morals in life. And my dad is the head of my family like a president. His decision is final and nobody can dare to go against him. And we follow every rule and regulation that my dad made as much as possible. We will never try to break it. And I always think about my family every thing goes ‘all is well.” My family is like a heaven. There is peace, love and care. I am proud of my family and to be a Nepali. In Nepal there is diversity of religion and I am the part of Christianity. I chose the Christ because Jesus died for us and now I think it is time to give payback to him. Everybody have hobbies and I have too. My hobbies is to help people who are suffering from food , shelter and children who don’t have their family and background.

  8. My country: Nepal Nepal is my country which is known as a landlocked country. Nepal is located in south Asia with the area of 147,181 square kilometers and a population of approximately 27 million. It is lying between two countries one is the north by the China and south, east and west by the Indian. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal where different religious groups live. Nepal is the place where lord Buddha was born. There is a lot of unique things in Nepal. One is that Mt. Everest is located there where a lot of tourists come to visit and others are all natural beauty like lakes, rivers, mountains, forests, etc.

  9. , Timai Camp is the place where I spent 15 years. It is the camp where thousands of people survived and die. And I always remember that my grandma was buried there. The camp were always crowded and it was surrounded by a filthy environment. People in the camp go to work far from their homes because near the camp there were no jobs available. People have lots of trouble in the camps. They drank and fight with their neighbors and family which can disrupt the whole community. Each month we got food and shelter from LWF. LWF is the organization who help the refugees all over the world. Children in the camp spent their time by going to school but some chose the wrong way because of their parents and family situation. 80 percent of children were educated in camps because of programs like Caritas that came to Nepal to help them. Caritas Nepal is the program that help reefuge people in camp. It helped students by providing books , pencils and everything that students need.
