  3. Activity 2: Individual Project • Deadline :5thMay 2013 • Project requirements: Work must be original and properly cited. • Assessment criteria : Content (Adherence to requirements/ depth of understanding/ research) 20% Creativity (Aesthetic, innovative style) 10% Effort 10%

  4. Select any one of three projects: Project 1 • Interview a pet owner on the responsibilities that come with owning a pet and write a short article on the lessons learnt. • Requirements: At least 800 words, covering 5 points about what you have learned from the owner. Include evidence of your interview and pet ownership.

  5. Select any one of three projects: Project 2 • Presentation on Pets/ Animal Welfare • Requirements: 5 slides on Powerpoint and an accompanying 500 words writeup with covers a social or global issue in considerable depth. There must be evidence of research and citation of work that is not your own and explore different viewpoints and arguments in the Singapore context.

  6. Select any one of three projects: Project 3 • Contribute an article on responsible pet ownership to the school/ newsletter. • Requirements: A centrefold article on Responsible Pet Ownership with an authentic newspaper or magazine feel with proper layout, pictures, fun facts, help line, etc. Writer must adopt the role of a journalist.
