  3. How Does It Work? Colleague a.k.a. WebAdvisor Snapshot 5 am each morning

  4. What is in this Snapshot? • All class sections that are entered into Colleague • Automatically create all Section Containers in Bb • All students enrolled in those classes • Automatically Enroll students in the right Section Containers

  5. What else can it do? • Adds • Adds students into the Section Containers • Drops • Until 1 week prior to the section start date • Removes student completely from Section Container • After 1 week prior to the section start date • Changes student status in Section Container to “unavailable” • Student’s work is kept in the Section Container – just in case

  6. What does this mean for you? • You do not have to request roster uploads • No delays for container creation at the start of the term • Containers for the term are available once the load process begins for each term • Once enrollment starts they are refreshed each day in Blackboard

  7. Section Containers • What are they? • Containers created by Snapshot • Contain the course content and students for one class section in a specific semester • No more recycling of old containers. Each semester you will get new section containers • Old section containers will be saved a year or two so that you have good records of student performance
