  5. Sporting Classifications • There are 4 sporting classifications: • Conditioning Activities • Competitive games and sports • Athletic • Aesthetic or gymnastic movement • Write a brief statement on each and give a practical example.

  8. Activity 20; page 224 Using a variety of equipment, devise a game within your group. What characterised the development of this game? What would you have to do to change it into a PE lesson? What would you have to do to turn this game into an Olympic activity?

  9. Plenary Quick Fire Revision Come up with 3 questions based on today’s lesson. Ask your opponent a question on anything that we have covered today. They must answer as quickly as possible. Based on their performance in this task set your partner a target to improve on for next lesson.

  10. Homework Write a report on a sporting event of your choice. Include specific examples of what you believe to be sportsmanship and gamesmanship. Deadline: Tuesday 13th October 2009
