In Psalm 94:9-11, we are reminded of God's omniscience and His role as our protector. The verses ask profound questions about His ability to hear and see our struggles and the futility of human thoughts. The psalmist expresses reliance on God's love during moments of slipping and anxiety, illustrating how divine consolation can bring joy to our souls. As we reflect on our actions and emotions, we are encouraged to seek the Lord as our fortress and rock. Let us embrace His strength as we navigate life's challenges.

Class Devotion The Lord Knows
The Lord Knows Psalm 94:9-11 (NIV) Does he who implanted the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? [10] Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches man lack knowledge? [11] The Lord knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile. … [17 Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
The Lord Knows [18] When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O Lord, supported me. [19] When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul. … [22] But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
Consider • Why are we encouraged to reconsider our actions … to think carefully before we act? • Think when you might have had the same feelings as the psalmist … slipping … anxious. • How can the Lord be your fortress as we finish this school year?
