  3. What is Let’s Party? • A sequel to WV’s 1993 Let’s Party; • New resource which reflects newly adopted state nutrition policies; and, • Reflects 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans

  6. Each Theme • Introduction • Party Ideas including decorations, costumes, music, quiet games, active play ideas, art activity • Menu Ideas including student friendly recipes, packaged foods and cafeteria recipes.

  7. Informed and Motivated • Knowledge for schools and families • If people are informed they may make wise choices • If people are motivated they may model healthy eating • If people understand why physical activity is important they may increase physical activity at school and home
