  3. MIRA: Background MIRA aims to develop and support the dialogue EU-MPCs bringing together policymakers and stakeholders This will happen parallel to the political dialogue created by the Barcelona process of EU-Mediterranean dialogue created by MoCo

MIRA objectives Aims at creating a dialogue and action platform to identify common interests in research areas, setting up S&T priorities and supporting capacity building activities Will promote actions in order to monitor, develop, promote and contribute to the creation of synergies among the different cooperation S&T programs between the MPCs and EU Fostering the participation of MPC in EU-FP and the ENPI

MIRAPossible Collaboration with African Countries Countries INCO-Net Collaboration with MIRA WP4: Priority setting, finding out common thematic priorities, linking of the science-industry workgroups from both INCO-Nets If appropriate: Joint development of SICA‘s and other proposals to the EC topics relevant for the entire Africa If appropiate: Participation of Africal experts in the training activities of MIRA, notably WP 3. Task 3 and 5 on training of administrative offciers and Writing and Management of Projects. Use of the targeted Guides for Applicants and other dissemination Material of MIRA
