New moon and Sabbath and the calling of convocations-- I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly. (14) Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; they have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. (15) When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood.
…(16) Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, (17) learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. (18) "Come now, let us reason together, says the Yehovah: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. Rth 1:16-17 ESV But Ruth said, "Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. May Yehovah do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you."
Lev 5:1-7 ESV "If anyone sins in that he hears a public adjuration to testify, and though he is a witness, whether he has seen or come to know the matter, yet does not speak, he shall bear his iniquity; (2) or if anyone touches an unclean thing, whether a carcass of an unclean wild animal or a carcass of unclean livestock or a carcass of unclean swarming things, and it is hidden from him and he has become unclean, and he realizes his guilt; (3) or if he touches human uncleanness, of whatever sort the uncleanness may be with which one becomes unclean, and it is hidden from him, when he comes to know it, and realizes his guilt;

And the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin. He who does these things shall never be moved.

(22) But if you refrain from vowing, you will not be guilty of sin. (23) You shall be careful to do what has passed your lips, for you have voluntarily vowed to Yehovah your Elohim what you have promised with your mouth.
Num 30:1-16 ESV Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the people of Israel, saying, "This is what Yehovah has commanded. (2) If a man vows a vow to Yehovah, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. (3) "If a woman vows a vow to Yehovah and binds herself by a pledge, while within her father's house in her youth, (4) and her father hears of her vow and of her pledge by which she has bound herself and says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge by which she has bound herself shall stand. (5) But if her father opposes her on the day that he hears of it, no vow of hers, no pledge by which she has bound herself shall stand. And Yehovah will forgive her, because her father opposed her…
…(6) "If she marries a husband, while under her vows or any thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she has bound herself, (7) and her husband hears of it and says nothing to her on the day that he hears, then her vows shall stand, and her pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand. (8) But if, on the day that her husband comes to hear of it, he opposes her, then he makes void her vow that was on her, and the thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she bound herself. And Yehovah will forgive her. (9) (But any vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, anything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.) (10) And if she vowed in her husband's house or bound herself by a pledge with an oath,…
…(11) and her husband heard of it and said nothing to her and did not oppose her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge by which she bound herself shall stand. (12) But if her husband makes them null and void on the day that he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning her pledge of herself shall not stand. Her husband has made them void, and Yehovah will forgive her. (13) Any vow and any binding oath to afflict herself, her husband may establish, or her husband may make void…
…(14) But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows or all her pledges that are upon her. He has established them, because he said nothing to her on the day that he heard of them. (15) But if he makes them null and void after he has heard of them, then he shall bear her iniquity." Psa 74:10-12 ESV How long, O Elohim, is the foe to scoff? Is the enemy to revile your name forever? (11) Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand? Take it from the fold of your garment and destroy them! (12) Yet Elohim my King is from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Isa 52:4-6 ESV For thus says AdonaiYehovih [the Lord GOD]: "My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. (5) Now therefore what have I here," declares Yehovah, "seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail," declares Yehovah, "and continually all the day my name is despised. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven." (3) And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming." (4) But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? (5) For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? (6) But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he then said to the paralytic--"Rise, pick up your bed and go home." (7) And he rose and went home.
Mat 26:63-66 ESV But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him, "I adjure you by the living Ho Theos [God], tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of Ho Theos [God]." (64) Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven." (65) Then the high priest tore his robes and said, "He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. (66) What is your judgment?" They answered, "He deserves death."
Joh 10:34-36 ESV Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I said, you are theos [gods]'? (35) If he called them theos [gods] to whom the word of Ho Theos [God] came--and Scripture cannot be broken-- (36) do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of Ho Theos [God]'?
Mat 12:22-32 ESV Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw. (23) And all the people were amazed, and said, "Can this be the Son of David?" (24) But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons." (25) Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. (26) And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? (27) And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges…
…(28) But if it is by the Spirit of Theos [God] that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of Ho Theos [God] has come upon you. (29) Or how can someone enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house. (30) Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. (31) Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. (32) And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Lev 24:16 ESV Whoever blasphemes the name of Yehovah shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
Num 16:31-33 ESV And as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. (32) And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. (33) So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
Act 23:1-5 ESV And looking intently at the council, Paul said, "Brothers, I have lived my life before Ho Theos [God] in all good conscience up to this day." (2) And the high priest Ananias commanded those who stood by him to strike him on the mouth. (3) Then Paul said to him, “Ho Theos [God] is going to strike you, you whitewashed wall! Are you sitting to judge me according to the law, and yet contrary to the law you order me to be struck?" (4) Those who stood by said, "Would you revile Ho Theos’ [God's] high priest?" (5) And Paul said, "I did not know, brothers, that he was the high priest, for it is written, 'You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.'"
Act 22:3 ESV "I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for Ho Theos [God] as all of you are this day.
Rom 13:1-2 ESV Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from Theos [God], and those that exist have been instituted by Theos [God]. (2) Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
Act 5:29 ESV But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey Theos [God] rather than men.
Lev 22:1-33 ESV And Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, (2) "Speak to Aaron and his sons so that they abstain from the holy things of the people of Israel, which they dedicate to me, so that they do not profane my holy name: I am Yehovah. (3) Say to them, 'If any one of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel dedicate to Yehovah, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from my presence: I am Yehovah. (4) None of the offspring of Aaron who has a leprous disease or a discharge may eat of the holy things until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean through contact with the dead or a man who has had an emission of semen, …
…(5) and whoever touches a swarming thing by which he may be made unclean or a person from whom he may take uncleanness, whatever his uncleanness may be-- (6) the person who touches such a thing shall be unclean until the evening and shall not eat of the holy things unless he has bathed his body in water. (7) When the sun goes down he shall be clean, and afterward he may eat of the holy things, because they are his food. (8) He shall not eat what dies of itself or is torn by beasts, and so make himself unclean by it: I am Yehovah.' (9) They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it and die thereby when they profane it: I am Yehovah who sanctifies them. (10) "A lay person shall not eat of a holy thing; no foreign guest of the priest or hired servant shall eat of a holy thing,…
…(11) but if a priest buys a slave as his property for money, the slave may eat of it, and anyone born in his house may eat of his food. (12) If a priest's daughter marries a layman, she shall not eat of the contribution of the holy things. (13) But if a priest's daughter is widowed or divorced and has no child and returns to her father's house, as in her youth, she may eat of her father's food; yet no lay person shall eat of it. (14) And if anyone eats of a holy thing unintentionally, he shall add the fifth of its value to it and give the holy thing to the priest. (15) They shall not profane the holy things of the people of Israel, which they contribute to Yehovah, (16) and so cause them to bear iniquity and guilt, by eating their holy things: for I am Yehovah who sanctifies them." (17) And Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying,…
…(18) "Speak to Aaron and his sons and all the people of Israel and say to them, When any one of the house of Israel or of the sojourners in Israel presents a burnt offering as his offering, for any of their vows or freewill offerings that they offer to Yehovah, (19) if it is to be accepted for you it shall be a male without blemish, of the bulls or the sheep or the goats. (20) You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you. (21) And when anyone offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yehovah to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, to be accepted it must be perfect; there shall be no blemish in it. (22) Animals blind or disabled or mutilated or having a discharge or an itch or scabs you shall not offer to Yehovah or give them to the Yehovah as a food offering on the altar….
…(23) You may present a bull or a lamb that has a part too long or too short for a freewill offering, but for a vow offering it cannot be accepted. (24) Any animal that has its testicles bruised or crushed or torn or cut you shall not offer to Yehovah; you shall not do it within your land, (25) neither shall you offer as the bread of your Elohim any such animals gotten from a foreigner. Since there is a blemish in them, because of their mutilation, they will not be accepted for you." (26) And Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, (27) "When an ox or sheep or goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be acceptable as a food offering to Yehovah. (28) But you shall not kill an ox or a sheep and her young in one day….
…(28) But you shall not kill an ox or a sheep and her young in one day. (29) And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Yehovah, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted. (30) It shall be eaten on the same day; you shall leave none of it until morning: I am Yehovah. (31) "So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am Yehovah. (32) And you shall not profane my holy name, that I may be sanctified among the people of Israel. I am Yehovah who sanctifies you, (33) who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your Elohim: I am Yehovah."
Rom 12:1-2 ESV I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of Ho Theos [God], to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Ho Theos [God], which is your spiritual worship. (2) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of Ho Theos [God], what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Lev 24:10-16 ESV Now an Israelite woman's son, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the people of Israel. And the Israelite woman's son and a man of Israel fought in the camp, (11) and the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. Then they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. (12) And they put him in custody, till the will of Yehovah should be clear to them. (13) Then Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, (14) "Bring out of the camp the one who cursed, and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him. (15) And speak to the people of Israel, saying, Whoever curses his Elohim shall bear his sin. (16) Whoever blasphemes the name of Yehovah shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
Lev 24:23 ESV So Moses spoke to the people of Israel, and they brought out of the camp the one who had cursed and stoned him with stones. Thus the people of Israel did as Yehovah commanded Moses.
1Co 10:1-4 ESV For I want you to know, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, (2) and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, (3) and all ate the same spiritual food, (4) and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.
Luk 6:43-45 ESV "For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, (44) for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. (45) The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Rom 3:10-18 ESV as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one; (11) no one understands; no one seeks for Ho Theos [God]. (12) All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one." (13) "Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive." "The venom of asps is under their lips." (14) "Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness." (15) "Their feet are swift to shed blood; (16) in their paths are ruin and misery, (17) and the way of peace they have not known." (18) "There is no fear of Theos [God] before their eyes."
Jas 1:26 ESV If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.
Jas 2:5-7 ESV Listen, my beloved brothers, has not Ho Theos [God] chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? (6) But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court? (7) Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?
Jas 3:5-9 ESV So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! (6) And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. (7) For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, (8) but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. (9) With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of Theos [God].
Jas 4:11-12 ESV Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. (12) There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
1Pe 3:10 ESV For "Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;
Tit 2:7-8 ESV Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, (8) and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
Isa 45:23 ESV By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: 'To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.'
Mic 6:8 ESV He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does Yehovah require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?
Deu 5:11 ESV "'You shall not take the name of Yehovah your Elohim in vain, for Yehovah will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
Jas 5:12 ESV But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your "yes" be yes and your "no" be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.
1Ki 19:18 ESV Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him."
Php 2:10 ESV so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
A primitive root (compare H2470); properly to bore, that is, (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively to profane (a person, place or thing), to break (one’s word), to begin (as if by an opening-wedge); denominatively (from H2485) to play (the flute): - begin (X men began), defile, X break, defile, X eat (as common things), X first, X gather the grape thereof, X take inheritance, pipe, player on instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (self), prostitute, slay (slain), sorrow, stain, wound.
Lev 18:21 ESV You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your Elohim: I am Yehovah.
Lev 20:2-3 ESV "Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. (3) I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name.
Lev 22:2 ESV "Speak to Aaron and his sons so that they abstain from the holy things of the people of Israel, which they dedicate to me, so that they do not profane my holy name: I am Yehovah.
Lev 22:32 ESV And you shall not profane my holy name, that I may be sanctified among the people of Israel. I am Yehovah who sanctifies you,
Eze 22:23-31 ESV And the word of Yehovah came to me: (24) "Son of man, say to her, You are a land that is not cleansed or rained upon in the day of indignation. (25) The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured human lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. (26) Her priests have done violence to my law and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they have disregarded my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. (27) Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain….
…(28) And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, 'Thus says AdonayYehovih [the Lord GOD],' when Yehovah has not spoken. (29) The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy, and have extorted from the sojourner without justice. (30) And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. (31) Therefore I have poured out my indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have returned their way upon their heads, declares AdonayYehovih [the Lord GOD]."
Eze 24:20-24 ESV Then I said to them, "The word of the Yehovah came to me: (21) 'Say to the house of Israel, Thus says AdonayYehovih [the Lord GOD]: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, and the yearning of your soul, and your sons and your daughters whom you left behind shall fall by the sword. (22) And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men. (23) Your turbans shall be on your heads and your shoes on your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but you shall rot away in your iniquities and groan to one another. (24) Thus shall Ezekiel be to you a sign; according to all that he has done you shall do. When this comes, then you will know that I am AdonayYehovih [the Lord GOD].'
Eze 28:14-16 ESV You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of Elohim; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. (15) You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. (16) In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
1Ti 1:8-11 ESV Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, (9) understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, (10) the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, (11) in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed Theos [God] with which I have been entrusted.
1Ti 6:20 ESV O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent [profane] babble and contradictions of what is falsely called "knowledge,"
2Ti 2:14-19 ESV Remind them of these things, and charge them before Ho Theos [God] not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. (15) Do your best to present yourself to Ho Theos [God] as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. (16) But avoid irreverent [profane] babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, (17) and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, (18) who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some. (19) But Ho Theos’ [God's] firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity."
Heb 12:15-29 ESV See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of Ho Theos [God]; that no "root of bitterness" springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; (16) that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. (17) For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears. (18) For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest (19) and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. (20) For they could not endure the order that was given, "If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned." (21) Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I tremble with fear."…
…(21) Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I tremble with fear." (22) But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living Theos [God], the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, (23) and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to Theos [God], the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, (24) and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. (25) See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven….
…(26) At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." (27) This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things that are shaken--that is, things that have been made--in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. (28) Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to Ho Theos [God] acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, (29) for our Ho Theos [God] is a consuming fire.
Lev 19:12 ESV You shall not swear by my name falsely, and so profane the name of your Elohim: I am Yehovah.
Rom 1:18-32 ESV For the wrath of Theos [God] is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. (19) For what can be known about Ho Theos [God] is plain to them, because Ho Theos [God] has shown it to them. (20) For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. (21) For although they knew Ho Theos [God], they did not honor him as Theos [God] or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (22) Claiming to be wise, they became fools, (23) and exchanged the glory of the immortal Theos [God] for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.…
…(24) Therefore Ho Theos [God] gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, (25) because they exchanged the truth about Ho Theos [God] for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. (26) For this reason Ho Theos [God] gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; (27) and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error….
…(28) And since they did not see fit to acknowledge Ho Theos [God], Ho Theos [God] gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. (29) They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, (30) slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, (31) foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. (32) Though they know Ho Theos’ [God's] decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
