  5. God Has Given Us Rules To Live By In Satan’s World! Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psa. 119:105). It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).

  6. Beware!!! But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ (2 Cor. 11:3). Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with enticing words (Col. 2:4).

God’s Commandments Are Good And the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day (Deut. 6:24). For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality (Col. 3:25). Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Gal. 6:7-8).

Do not look on the wine when it is red, When it sparkles in the cup, When it goes down smoothly; At the last it bites like a serpent, And stings like a viper (Prov. 23:31-32). Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life (Prov. 4:23). Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? (Rom. 6:16). And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” (Luke 12:15). Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits. (1 Cor. 15:33). not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Heb. 10:25). Would you let your child see how close to a snake or an alligator he/she could get?

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers (Acts 2:42).
