  4. REMEMBER: When in the World, you are in Satan’s World! In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (2 Cor. 4:4).

  5. God Has Given Us Rules To Live By In Satan’s World! Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psa. 119:105). It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).

  6. Beware!!! But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ (2 Cor. 11:3). Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with enticing words (Col. 2:4).

  7. God’s Commandments Are Good And the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day (Deut. 6:24). For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality (Col. 3:25). Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Gal. 6:7-8).

  8. Alligator Etiquette - Rule 1 Absolutely Do Not Feed or Annoy the Alligators Satan Etiquette Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good (Rom.12:9). Abstain from every form of evil (1 Thess. 5:22).

  9. Often, We are not as strong as we think we are! Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall (1 Cor. 10:12). “I can handle a little alcohol.” “That movie won’t affect me.” “I’m just going to do it just this once.” “My old friends won’t cause me to sin.” “Missing just one service won’t hurt me.” “I’ll let my child do this, it won’t hurt, and we’ll stop right here.” Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, And whoever is intoxicated by it is not wise (Prov. 20:1). Do not look on the wine when it is red, When it sparkles in the cup, When it goes down smoothly; At the last it bites like a serpent, And stings like a viper (Prov. 23:31-32). Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life (Prov. 4:23). Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? (Rom. 6:16). And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” (Luke 12:15). Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits. (1 Cor. 15:33). not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Heb. 10:25). Would you let your child see how close to a snake or an alligator he/she could get?

Satan Etiquette Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me (Ezek. 3:17-21). Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted (Gal. 6:1).

  11. How would we react if we saw othersplaying in a nest of baby gators? “Am I my brother’s keeper?” “Let’s not rush into anything.” “A few little bites won’t hurt them.” “Their intent is good.” “Most people don’t get hurt by a gator.” “I don’t want to offend them.” Why do we react to physical danger so differently than to spiritual danger?

  12. Alligator Etiquette - Rule 2 If You Love Your Pet, Keep It On A Leash Satan Etiquette And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him (Prov. 22:15). Chasten your son while there is hope, And do not set your heart on his destruction (Prov. 19:18).

  13. Alligator Etiquette – Rule 3 Do Not Assume Alligators Are Slow-moving or Sluggish! Satan Etiquette Do not be deceived—Satan is the master of deception (Jn. 8:44). So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Rev. 12:9).

  14. Too Many View Satan as Harmless or Non-existent: Just a Tool God Uses to get us to comply with His Will Deceived Eve (Gen. 3:4-6) Deceived prophet of God (1 Kgs. 13) Tried to deceive Christ (Mt. 4) Spouse & Children (Mt. 10:34-36) Wicked Women (Prov. 7:5-21) False Teachers (Mt. 7:15-20) Friends (1 Cor. 15:33) Riches (Mt. 13:22) Philosophy (Col. 2:8) Wine (Prov. 23:31-32) Self (1 Cor. 3:18) Pride (Obadiah 1:3)

  15. How Do We Avoid Being Deceived? Don’t Be deceived by the Appearance of Sin! Discern Between Good & Evil (Heb. 5:12-14) Run From Sin (1 Cor. 6:18) Obey Elders (Heb. 13:17) Hide God’s Word in Your Heart (Psa. 119:11) Obey Parents (Eph. 6:1) Approve Things That Are Excellent (Phil. 1:9-10) Do Right (1 John 3:7) Realize Possibility of Falling (1 Cor. 10:12) Sow to the Spirit (Gal. 6:7-8)
