Background & Objectives • Experiences derived form Civitas Caravel - Krakow • Aims of Caravel programme • To base energy consumption increasingly on renewable resources. • To minimise traffic-related air and noise pollution • To improve health and well being of all citizens • To care especially for the needs of the vulnerable and disadvantaged citizens • To support durable economic development • To establish a broad social consensus for clean mobility • To reduce the ecological footprint of mobility CIVITAS Webinar 00/00/2013

Implementation • Chosen measures (7 of 18) • Bike rental scheme • Bus on demand – Telebus • Mobility plan for Cracow University • Car-pooling system • Access restriction • Efficiency of bus lanes • Clean vehicle fleet • Increasing of awareness level among PT users • Integrated ticketing and tariffs CIVITAS Webinar 00/00/2013
