IMPACTO DE UMA AÇÃO EDUCATIVA NO CONHECIMENTO E CONDUTA DE CUIDADORES QUANTO À ALIMENTAÇÃO DE CRIANÇAS NEUROPATASCARVALHO, APC – UNCISAL/CHIARI, BM – UNIFESP/ GONÇALVES, MI - UNIFESP RESULTADOS: Quando comparado o conhecimento dos cuidadores na primeira e segunda coleta de dados, observou-se diferença estatisticamente significante para todos os itens apenas no grupo estudo (cuidadores submetidos à ação. Quanto à conduta dos cuidadores, também só foi observada diferença estatística este grupo, tendo sido observado maior utilização de comandos verbais relacionados à alimentação (p=0,0216); melhora da percepção da dificuldade da criança pelo cuidador (p=0.0139) e aumento do uso de estratégias favorecedoras. No grupo estudo (cuidadores sem acesso a ação educativa) não observou-se diferença estatística para nenhum dos itens avaliados. CONCLUSÃO: A ação educativa realizada apresentou impacto positivo no conhecimento e conduta dos cuidadores quanto à alimentação de seus filhos com encefalopatia crônica não progressiva.
