    10. Exercise Scenario DATE: Tuesday, November 15th TIME: 1400 WEATHER: 32 Degrees, clear day with snow on the ground. Slight wind coming out of the west. STAFFING: Required staff on duty. Chief is on vacation. Commander is in Greeley for a meeting.

Event #1 1400 - Dispatch notifies you of a roll over accident involving a school bus and a semi at the intersection of Hwy 119 & Colorado Blvd. 1402- While in route, Dispatch advises you of multiple injuries. 1403-First responding unit observes a school bus turned over on its side with a fuel tanker making contact with the middle of the underside of the bus. 1403-Fluids are visible on the ground, unknown source

    13. Event #2 1405- Multiple injuries involving middle school aged children. People are outside of their vehicles trying to assist the children in getting off the bus. 1405- Unconfirmed number of fatalities 1405- Unconfirmed number of students on the bus; more than twenty. 1406- Fire Department locates fuel source; it is leaking from the bus not the fuel tanker.

    15. Event #3 Approximately 1410- School officials arrive on-scene. Students are being transported to area hospitals. Traffic is backing up and patrol is having problems moving traffic because the drivers have left their vehicles to assist in the accident. Bystanders are trying to help the children. Their efforts are impeding first response capabilities.

    17. Event #4 Two confirmed deaths 13 injured students 22 students standing out in the cold needing non-medical attention Parents are showing up on-scene and trying to remove their children from the scene.
