  3. School Drama • We define school drama as behavior, maturity and stealing.

  4. Behavior • Fighting in school and seeing it as entertainment • Hear bad words. • Ruins one of our mottos- Respect

  5. Maturity • Students don’t complete or turn in work late. • Ruins 2 of our mottos- Responsibility and trust. • Students ignore teachers or other students. • Ruins 1 of our mottos- Respect

  6. Stealing • Few this year and many last year. • I also know that others have gotten something stolen last year and even I was about to get something stolen. • Stealing is ruining one of our mottos: Trust. • Trust is a big deal, without trust there is nothing, everybody lives with fear that something will get stolen & don’t know who is at fault.

  7. Survey • Questions: • Do you think school Drama is a problem? • Have you ever gotten something stolen? & Did you ever get it back? • Have you ever been in a group where one of your group members don’t work? & How did you feel? • Have you ever seen a fight in school.

  8. Question 1: Do you think school Drama is a problem? 3/5-yes

  9. Question 2: Have you ever gotten something stolen? And Did you ever get it back? • A 10th grader answered- “Yes I did get something stolen, 2 lockers and 1 mp3, it was last year and I never got it back.” • Another 10th grader said- “Yes, an IPod touch, it was last year and never got it back.” • An 11th grader answered- “Yes, a phone and an IPod, it was this year and didn’t get it back.” • Another 11th grader said- “Yes, money it was the year 2008 and never got it back.”

  10. Answer 3: Have you ever been in a group where one of your group members don’t work? And How did you feel? • A 10th grader answered- “Yes, it was this year and I felt nothing.” • Another 10th grader answered- “Yes, it was this year and I felt sad.” • An 11th grader answered- “Yes, it was when I was in 10th grade and I felt angry.” • Another 11th grader answered- “Yes, it was in the year 2009 & 2010 and I felt mad and frustrated.”

  11. Answer 4: Have you ever seen a fight in school? • A 10th grader answered- “No” • Another 10th grader answered- “Yes, it was last year.” • An 11th grader answered- “Yes, I was in 10th grade.” • Another 11th grader answered- “Yes, it was in the year 2009, 2 girls and 2 guys were fighting.”

  12. Suggestion • One possible solution is having some sort of class that teaches them, maturity, behavior and stealing. • Maturity-Tutoring. • Behavior: • Preventing fights-If there is an issue between some students have them talk about what their issue is. • If there is a fight- take all the people involved in the fight and asked them why the fight started like that.
