  1. A brief study of Abemaciclib in treatibg breast cancer Breast cancer mainly occurs in women and infrequently in men. Its treatment depends on the stage of cancer. It's going to contain chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy, and surgery.

  2. Import Verzenioabemaciclib in India The European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) also gave positive feedback on the approval of abemaciclib in July 2018. The European Commission permitted the marketing authorization to the drug under the brand name Verzenios in September 2018 since it’s yet to be recognized in India, so special permission is needed to import Verzenioabemaciclib in India to treat cancer patients.

Breast cancer generally develops in the breast tissue and is associated with symptoms like a change in size or shape of the breast, lumps, and discharges from the nipples. In the advanced stage, it spreads from the breast tissue to other parts of the body. According to a survey, 72% of breast cancer patients have HR+ and HER2- tumors.

  4. What is the mechanism of action, Verzenio? Verzenio contains cyclin-dependent kinases (CDK) 4 and 6 inhibitors, and it gets activated with the binding to D-cyclins. The drug disrupts the cycle and inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It reduces the tumor size when in used combination with antiestrogens or as a single agent. The medicines are available in oral form only.
