  1. Mulberry Silk “Silk does for the body what diamonds do for the hand”. Since ancient times, silk has been a popular fabric type. One of the world's strongest natural materials is thought to be silk. In the past, worms were used to manufacture silk garments. However, there have been changes in their manufacturing processes over time. Today, several distinct varieties of silk are created using various methods and resources. As a result, we can be certain that not all silks are created equal. The Process One of the most expensive kinds of natural silk is mulberry silk. Its uniqueness comes from how it is produced. The Bombyx mori moth's silkworms are used to produce mulberry silk. To promote growth, the silkworms only consume mulberry leaves as food. When they reach adulthood, they stop eating and start spinning their cocoon to perform their magic. Only one strand of silk, roughly 100 metres long and kept together by natural glue is produced by each silkworm.

  2. Reasons you must accommodate this silk in your wardrobe:- This blog lists a few silk qualities that have stood the test of time. These characteristics can help to understand why silk has long been a favourite material for women's clothing: 1.Naturally Hypoallergenic: Silk is a great fabric for clothing since it is hypoallergenic. Especially for ladies who frequently have sensitive skin, asthma, or allergies. Women who are allergic to this cloth are a minority. Silk naturally repels some of the most common allergens in the world, including as dust mites and mould, which can help those with sensitive skin lessen their symptoms. It is the most hypoallergenic cloth available and won't irritate your skin. It excels in preserving the skin's hydration, moisture, and suppleness. Silk clothing has an insulating quality that keeps moisture away from the skin. Additionally, the fibres have a very smooth texture, preventing rubbing and irritation of the skin. 2.To your rescue in summer: Silk clothing tends to keep the body cool in the summer in addition to keeping you warm in the winter. As a result of its propensity to absorb 10–30% of its weight in moisture, it qualifies as a moderately breathable fabric. It is also extremely thin and light, which could be quite helpful in keeping you cool. Summertime is the perfect time to wear loose-fitting silk clothing and accessories like kurtas, kaftans, and scarves.

  3. 3.Remarkable for its gleaming, soft and luxurious texture: In addition to all the above-stated details, silk is a beautiful fabric. Silk is the only fabric on earth that can match its luxurious appearance and a silky-soft feel. Because of the triangular prism-like structure on the silk strand, silk clothing has a beautiful sheen. A silk fibre’s shape reflects light from different directions, giving it a shimmering appearance. The weaving or forming process also affects the shine. Silk is an incredibly adaptable substance that may be woven into a variety of weaves. Chiffon, satin, crepe, twill, tussar, dupion, cotton, etc. are examples of popular weaves. These various weaves each give the silk a special and distinctive beauty. 4.Resistant and Lasting: There is a compelling argument in favour of purchasing high-quality silk. because it has a long lifespan. Silk is remarkably robust for a material that is so light and thin. Silk threads are four times more durable than steel thread because of their incredible strength. Silk is not only durable but also remarkably resilient and stretchy, making it ideal for women's clothing. Silk is not only used for sarees. They can be seen wearing dresses, suits, shirts, kurtas, salwars, tops, and other home furnishings.
