  2. Regional Specialization: • Feasibility cluster phase in Montenegro • Strategy for sustainable economic growth by introducing the clusters 2016 (in procedure) • Individual mechatronics enterprises with a wide range of activities

  3. Sub-sectors of interest: • Manufacturing of machinery for food, drink and tobacco industry • Manufacturing of electrical / mechanical equipment for engines and vehicles • Consulting for IT system installation / Electronic data processing • Manufacturing of parts and accessories for motor vehicles and their engines • Manifacturing of other means of transport (shipbuiding and ship repairing)

  4. Mechatronics clusters/ Centres of Competence in Montenegro: • No formal mechatronics cluster in Montenegro • ICT incubator “Inventiveness” in Podgorica as a example of good practice with strong potential to become the IT cluster (5 tenants) www.inventivnost.me

  5. Scientific bodies participating in the clusters and playing important role in promoting competence: • Mechanical Faculty in Podgorica (member of EEN) • Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Science – feasibility study for project “Establishment of scientific and technological park in Montenegro” (May 2011) • Institutionfor transport Podgorica
