Effects of ATRA and ST1926 on SK-N-DZ Cell Morphology: A Phase Contrast Study

This study investigates the morphological changes in SK-N-DZ cells treated with ATRA (2.5 mM), ST1926 (0.2 mM), and their combination over 13 days. Phase contrast images captured on the 6th treatment day at 10x magnification using a Canon PowerShot G5 attached to an Olympus reverse microscope illustrate the cellular responses. The analysis aims to provide insights into how these compounds alter cell morphology, which could be pivotal for developing therapeutic strategies in neuroblastoma treatment.

  1. ctr ST1926 ATRA ST1926+ATRA Cell morphology study on SK-N-DZ cells treated with either single drugs (ATRA 2.5mM or ST1926 0.2mM) or their combination for up to 13 days. The phase contrast images shown, were acquired on the 6th day of treatment with a digital camera (Canon, Power Shot G5) fixed on a Olympus reverse microscope at 10x magnification.
