Join us for a unique Math Practices session focusing on practices #7 and #8: "Look for and make use of structure" and "Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning." Engage in our interactive Puzzler’s Relay, where teams will match math practices with their corresponding principles while fostering teamwork and discussion. We will use inquiry-based activities such as the Inquiry Cube to stimulate curiosity and exploration. Bring your questions on post-it notes for collaborative discussion. Let's enhance our understanding of math through exploratory learning!

Review: The Puzzler’s Relay • Each team has a basket of cards. • Each card has either a math practice number, a math practice, or a big idea. • Players will take turns pulling out a card and performing the noted action to place the card on the board at the other end of the room. • Players must then come back and tag the next payer on their team. • The objective is to correctly match each practice with it’s correct number and big idea.
Inquiry Cube No picking up the cube! No moving the cube! What is on the bottom of the cube?
