As of August 2011, the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs report an active registration status. A total of 23 states are currently open for registration in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. These states include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
