The Irish organizations or communities celebrate this day  wherever  they  are  across  the  world.  On  that  particular  day, people wear green clothing item. Also included in the  St Patrick’s Day celebrations  are  parties  which  feature  Irish drinks and foods which are dyed green in color. Irish  children also indulge in consumption of sweets while the  adults enjoy beer pints at local pubs.

The Symbols of St Patrick’s Day: Shamrock  is  the  main  symbol  of  St  Patrick’s  Day.  Shamrock  is  clover  plant  leaf  and  a  Holy  Trinity  symbol.  Most  people  choose  to  wear  green  colour,  and the Republic of Ireland flag features in various  St  Patrick’s  Day  across  the  world.  The  religious  symbols  include  Celtic  cross,  serpents  and  snakes.  The  Celtic  cross  originated  from  the  addition  by  Saint Patrick of the powerful symbol of Irish, the sun  into  the  Christian  cross.  Other  popular  symbols  include harp, leprechaun and pot of gold which is  kept hidden by the leprechaun.
