  2. Democracy (Pros) • It allows the people to decide what they want for the country and vote to come to a consensus • Appeases the general public • Their opinions matter • It is viewed as the most fair way of governance of a country

  3. Democracy (Cons) • Leaders can be questioned and they may face controversy which will challenge their leadership skills • Yulia was questioned and many people were skeptical about her

  4. Socialism (Pros) • Socialist nations give the citizens the rights to voice out their opinions for the economic development of the country • Provide alternative solutions to problems

  5. Socialism (Cons) • With great power, leaders find the temptation to become corrupt very great • Abuse of their power

  6. Dictatorship (Good) • Allows decisions that need to be urgently made to be made quickly without resistance from citizens • Economic decisions to bail out countries even though these decisions may not help the people

  7. Dictatorship (Cons) • Full power allows leaders to be easily corrupted • Abuse of power and might • Reign of terror

What we believe • We believe that the best type of governance is a mixture between socialism and democracy, while avoiding dictatorship • Socialism and democracy allow for smooth governance of a nation • Economic and social benefit • Society progresses • Dictatorship angers the citizens • Abuse of absolute power
