Meet the Faculty • Christina Gallo – Department Chairperson Teaches U.S. Government and History ; Civics-Geography • Erin Joseph- Teaches Civics-Geography; Intro to Criminology; Pre-Law • John Fillmore – Teaches U.S. Government and History; Intro to Psychology • Eileen McAnulla – Teaches Civics- Geography; A.P.   3. Honors and Academic • There are two levels of coursework for the REQUIRED courses in the department:

Why does it seem like everybody is taking Civics this year? • Because of new regulations involving DCAS and Delaware End of Course Exams, Laurel High School is presently re-sequencing the required courses in Social Studies. • Because of this drastic change in what class students take in which grade levels, ALL 9-11th grade students are taking Civics or US Government and History. • The 2012-2013 school year, the courses will be offered, and students scheduled, in the correct sequence.
