Background • Traditional attitude of women workers • Women participants are not willing to join the trade union leadership or involve into trade union movement. • Unionists are troublemakers. • All women workers are not well organized and do not have a good communicating system. • Some esco of women committee intend to dismandle the women committee. • Target group will be the women committee and the women workers

  3. Long-term and immediate objectives • To obtain a gender balance in the CAEU council increasing ratio of women participants in the CAEU leadership • To strengthen the communication and capacitiy of CAEU women committee on trade union issues. • To strengthen collective bargaining power of women participants • ********************************************* • The 6-area women committee members will have a communication network via email and conference. • 3,000 Women members will be able to get information from website and CAEUWC can collect the voices from women members. There will be an interactive website to communicate within women members.

  4. Indicators, Monitoring, Evaluation • 13 women committee members enable to use Solicomm system • Web site hit rate -Access analyses • Mile Stone Chart to control working plan • Evaluation Questionnaire from women workers
