  2. About the Department • The Department of Automobile Engineering was started in the year 1999 with sanctioned intake of 30. The intake was increased from 30 to 60 in the year 2009. The department has well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff members of proven ability and administrative skills. It has well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories that cater to the needs of the students.The department is actively engaged in teaching and research in the areas of Automobile Engineering and related areas.The department is accredited for three years in the year of 2018 by National Board of Accreditation.

  3. Vision • To be a leader in higher technical education and research in the field of Automobile Engineering by providing state of art facilities to transform the learners into global contributors and achievers

  4. Mission • To develop the department of Automobile Engineering into a "Centre of Excellence" offering education to men and women at undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral degree level, bringing out their total personality, emphasizing ethical values and preparing them to meet the growing challenges of the Automotive industry and diverse societal needs of our nation
