Technology giant Micromax online venture YU Televentures launched a new smartphone in India on Tuesday May 12, 2015. The smartphone is called ‘YU Yuphoria’ and it has ‘YU Fit Band’ which will work with a health tracking service powered by HealtifyMe. Unlike from YU Yureka, the new YU Yuphoria is priced at Rs 6,999 keeping in mind the budget of the segment. The smartphone will come in two colours which are - Buffed Steel with Black cover and Champagne Gold with White cover. Vaikundarajan shares the smartphone will be available for sale only at online retailer Amazon.In from May 28,2015 and registrations for the same started at 5:00 PM on Tuesday.

The rear cover is made of plastic and is removable.
