  2. What’s « Development » ?? 1. The systematic use of scientific and technical knowledge to meet specific objectives or requirements. 2. An extension of the theoretical or practical aspects of a concept, design, discovery, or invention. 3. The process of economic and social transformation that is based on complex cultural and environmental factors and their interactions. 4. The process of adding improvements to a parcel of land, such as grading, subdivisions, drainage, access, roads, utilities.

  3. Developed countries The term developed country is used to describe countries that have a high level of development according to some criteria. Which criteria and which countries are classified as being developed, is a contentious issue and is surrounded by fierce debate. Economic criteria have tended to dominate discussions.

  4. What’s those critirion? One such criterion is income per capita; countries with high gross domestic product (GDP) per capita would thus be described as developed countries.

  5. Another economic criterion is industrialization; countries in which the tertiary and quaternary sectors of industry dominate would thus be described as developed. More recently another measure, the Human Development Index (HDI), which combines an economic measure, national income, with other measures, indices for life expectancy and education has become prominent. This criterion would define developed countries as those with a very high (HDI) rating.

  8. What they say Morocco has recently developed a strong and dynamic policy in the area of water. Its strategy involves the need to guarantee the right to water of all citizens in all areas, and makes it possible to benefit from a reliable water infrastructure.

  9. Aware of the importance of biodiversity in sustainable development, Morocco is implementing a national strategy which aims to preserve its organic heritage. Under the scheme, more than 1.2 million acres across the whole country have been replanted with a wide variety of trees.
