  2. Suyam is a Charitable Trust focused on improving the lives of children in poor communities through education • SUYAM Charitable Trust was started and formally registered under Trust Act (Regn. No.1163/99) in August 1999 by a group of young college students and experienced social activists who were in this service field since 1987. • Suyam worksto improve lives in poor communities, support youth in education and career guidance,develop social consciousness in youth, assist individuals in distress (social and personal),network with like-minded groups and institutions to expand its impact. • Suyam is especially concerned about preventing social problems relating to child labour,begging, school drop-outs, early marriage, teenagers, families, by stressing child-centered educationto facilitate holistic development of the child. • Suyam’sflagship school, SIRAGU Montessori provides free education to 462 children of which 116 children are residential.Suyam providesthem free education, notebooks, food, uniform, school bags etc. At Siragu students are encouragedto learn and express themselves independently, and thus bring out their inherent potentials and focus on overall development. • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP3KSvXFj4Y

  3. Proposal : Provisions n Groceries • About the need: • Siragu Montessori School benefiting 462+ children and of which 116 are residential hostellers. Morning 116 children + staff, during lunch 225 children + staff and dinner 116 children have food, on an average including snacks 600 meals a day is to be served. • To provide 3 times food, one time snacks we depend on daily donations, feeding program sponsors and donation in kind donors but struggling to manage provisions n groceries cost which need your kind attention and possible support. • Proposal : • We request 3 month or 6 month tenure support which give us breathing time to arrange for contributions to manage further. • Proposal Cost : Considering 1 lakh per month is actual cost, we hereby request you to contribute Rs.50,000 per month for 3 months or 6 months which we utilise and submit due report with proper bills. Donation can be considered in kind also, we can put up a list of items needed, volunteers from IBM can order online and get us through BigBasket door delivery program. • Proposed Budget : Rs.1,50,000-Rs.3,00,000

  4. Proposal : Diwali Needs • About the need: • Siragu Montessori School benefiting 400+ children with free education. Considering festival celebrations which bring immense happiness to children when new dresses and sweets and special food add more joy to the children. Out 400 children we plan to support 250 children this year from Siragu and 40 staff members. Request your team’s timely support if this proposal is selected which will have one prime need listed is new dresses. Also we invite and welcome IBM volunteers to join us in the celebrations. • Proposal : • New Dresses for 100 children • Proposal Cost : • Rs.700 per child and total cost INR 70,000 • Proposal : New Dresses for staff members • Proposal Cost : Rs.1000 per staff and total cost INR 40,000 • Total Proposal Cost: INR 1,10,000

  5. Proposal : School Stationeries • About the need: • Siragu Montessori School benefiting 400+ children with free education. Considering quality education, more of creative activities, work sheet method teaching involves regular stationery materials, we hereby submit list of items which we seek your support to provide at your possible levels. • Note: Your earlier contribution of school stationeries helped a lot and very much useful for the school for the whole academic year. • Proposal : Donation in Kind – Stationeries • A4 Papers : 4 boxes • each box will have 10 packs and each pack consist of 500 sheets • Ball Point Pens : 3000 Nos. • considering 10 pens per student for 300 students • Record Note Books : 500 Nos. • 5 note books for each student for 100 students of X and XII grade for record submission • Ruled Sheets : 10 quire • Unruled Sheets : 10 quire • Examination Pads : 300 Nos. • Staplers : 1 box • Pencils : 1000 nos. • Sharpeners and Erasers : 500 Nos. • Dustless chalkpiece : 50 boxes • Terrecota paint : Fevicryl colors 20 boxes (diya paintings)

Suyam runs 2 independent schools catering to underprivileged • 100 residential and 425 day scholars • Classes from Pre-KG to 12th 2 1 • Bharathamatha • School • Siragu • Montessori School • 30 residential and 70 day scholars • Pre KG to 8th • Suyam learning concepts – integrate Montessori, Clendomen and Shishantar • Change education syllabus every 3 years • Enforce learning though practical experiential project work • Provide 10-12 hours of teacher time per week • Compile and create own educational materials (patent application in process)
